This was painted on location at the capitol grounds in Bismarck North Dakota during an annual art fair, booths lined up selling their wares, viewers enjoying the visual feasts on display.
About Helen Campbell
Helen has displayed her work in Canada, where she grew up, and the United States, and has a BFA from Calvin University, Grand Rapids MI. She has been plein air painting since 2009, and has won awards in Michigan, New York, and North Dakota. She feels a work is most successful when the colors, textures, and composition fit the overall mood and subject.
